I realize that most of us are focused on the shootings in Alexandria, and all the other things going on around us and in our lives, so this might seem trivial. But it is the President's birthday. People can sign a birthday card for him. Edited: I removed the link because I found out it required you to donate to the GOP in order to sign. People can just tweet a Happy Birthday if they care to do so.

I know he's not your favorite, but this was a nice thing for you to say. We don't agree much but I commend you for this.
Happy Birthday Mr. President!
The news story I was reading mentioned that Melania wanted people to sign a birthday card for the President and had a link to that birthday card. I included that link in my original post, but then discovered that the link required the signer to donate to the GOP in order to sign the card. I removed the link because I believe it violates the rules on this forum. But I mentioned twitter as an alternative because that doesn't require any donations and many people are wishing the President a happy birthday there.

Yeah, no, I got that. I was more referring to the fact that you had to donate money so sign that card. Surely they GOP knows the stereotype; that they're the money grubbing party? There's just no way they thought that was a good idea.
oh kids -- you are doing it all wrong. Go sign that card & donate...that's what the President wants for his birthday -- he will never see all your good wishes here.
