May 10, 2017 - U.S. Voters Send Trump Approval To Near Record Low; Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; No Winner In Media War, But Voters Trust Media More

American voters, who gave President Donald Trump a slight approval bump after the missile strike in Syria, today give him a near-record negative 36 - 58 percent job approval rating, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. Critical are big losses among white voters with no college degree, white men and independent voters.

When asked what is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of Donald Trump the top replies were:

1) idiot
2) incompetent
3) liar

Other top sobriquets were: unqualified, ignorant, egotistical, a**hole, stupid, arrogant, and bully.

53% of voters feel “less safe with” Trump, and 53% trust the news media to tell the truth more than they do Trump.

All words that have been used to describe Obama, quite frequently.

And these words are certainly applicable to $hillary.

Blame the political system that fronts such deplorables.

Trump's still "winning", however, and the Democrats continue to lose.

Democrats said the mayor's election in Omaha was a referendum on President Trump.

Then their guy lost, again. Mello lost on Tuesday to incumbent Republican Jean Stothert, who defeated the 37 year old 53 percent to 47 percent. It's the third time the Democrats have pitched an election as a referendum on Trump. Democrats lost a special election for a House seat in Kansas and then failed to grab an open House seat in Georgia.

Angry guys on a forum isn't exactly what I was after. But maybe that's my fault for not being specific...

Do you have documentation that a significant amount of the population holds these views of Obama? Like was found in this poll re: Trump?
