I like him better now. Livestock produces many greenhouse gasses, and I'd want humanity getting more of their protein from insects in the future too. Good job Obama. He's thinking about the future.

So do LeftNuts with all their crying and whining about everything under the sun.
Go ahead trump voters, keep eating your high cholesterol meats, keep smoking your cigarettes, keep getting fatter and fatter, don't exercise, don't get preventative check-ups. Seriously, you're on your way out, can't happen fast enough for the majority of Americans.

You think I'm wrong?
And it accounts for respectively 37 percent of all human-induced methane (23 times as warming as CO2), which is largely produced by the digestive system of ruminants, and 64 percent of ammonia, which contributes significantly to acid rain. Livestock a major threat to environment
I've heard of this bug-eating idea before. Nobody's going to go along with it who doesn't already, but it's kind of an interesting idea to fantasize about. Besides, here's a good quote from Obama from the article linked that makes him sound significantly less crazy:
“That doesn’t mean that we can’t teach you and me to have a smaller steak, for our own health,” Obama said. “It doesn’t mean we can’t make progress in educating the advanced world about the need to reduce, just for dietary reasons, the amount of meat that we consume at any given meal.” https://qz.com/980383/barack-obama-s...global-summit/
The man isn't planning on forcing everyone to become vegans at gunpoint. He's sensibly pondering the future and rationally suggesting a direction to go, as he should be doing. Far from thinking he's nuts, I'm optimistic about how he's thinking about the long term. He's no longer president. He has a little more time for this sort of kookier thing.
Although I didn't see anything that pointed to Obama mentioning anything about bug-eating, just a suggestion to eat less meat...mostly because that would be healthier.
