This is very interesting. Several bloggers (listed below) that have been on top of the whole Trump/Russia fiasco and have made some extremely prescient posts predicting this last night.

John Schindler https://twitter.com/20committee
Louise Mensch https://twitter.com/LouiseMensch
Claude Taylor https://twitter.com/TrueFactsStated

Just read through their timelines on twitter and you can see that they have called some significant events one to two weeks before they have been confirmed.

The cliff’s notes version is, GOP campaign consultants and *possibly* GOP insiders have been caught on surveillance conspiring to launder Russian money into the Trump campaign.

NY and E Virginia US Attorneys have two to three Grand Juries that have been working on the issue as well. One involves a RICO case against GOP , Flynn, Manafort, Page and probably some other Trump Klingons.

Looks like the Comey firing was the catalyst to act sooner rather than later.

This will get interesting fast.

I clicked on the John Schindler link, and found this retweet -

"(1) Infuriate FBI full of potential leaks
(2) Kick man who could appoint special counsel square in the dick"

Which I thought was a pretty good summation of the whole Comey mess.

The place being raided has a history of taking donations and just keeping them. MAYBE its related, but they are bad actors that could be raided for other reasons.

IE Yeah my internal biases wish for this to be true, and it would be nice...but I'd wait til we see more evidence before jumping to conclusions.

Ken Cuccinelli (another loser) sued this company for not turning over $$$ they raised for his losing election attempt.

Local media say the stated reason for the raid is related to the 2013 governor's race. Not related to Trump on the surface. Once they start digging into files and financial records who knows where it will lead.

Yes, I've been reading about this "Search Warrant" activity since this morning. It went down much like any search warrant when the Marshals descend upon whatever place ala Clinic, business, pharma sites.. It's done in such a way to eliminate possibility to shread, remove evidence .. Wanna bet they found a "Treasure Trove" ???

Laundering $$ is not some NEW thing.. It's just developed beyond Mobs and businesses that were Nationally related.. It's evolved into International levels!! Between Shell Companies and the role back by SCOTUS by "Citizen's United" that alien/foreign entities can infiltrate $$$ to make it clean, and line the pockets in order to REAP legislative support for such activity.

Let's Face it, this hunt for documentation is directly related to Russian Oligarchy and likely other Countries who had an agenda! Doubt we will hear anytime soon what they found.. It's well known, updates don't come out until "INVESTIGATIONS" are completed!!

*IF* the surveillance claims are correct, it would fit with the idea of a RICO investigation.

We'll see soon I suspect.

I'm wondering how much of the Russian investment money the Trumps have taken will turn out to be ill-gotten and have contributed to money laundering flowing through their properties.

The FISA issue was related to Russian banks. And maybe we've solved the riddle of why Trump won't release his tax returns.

As Woodward and Bernstein have steadily said---Follow the money.

I'm pretty sure a majority of it will be traced to Russian Mob and Putin. I also read that the NY AG is looking at this as well. Trump can't influence or squash whatever the NY AG does, which is a good thing.

Finally found a media report outside of Twitter~~

The FBI just raided a Republican fundraising firm outside DC

Quote:
The FBI is conducting a search of a fundraising organization that works with the Republican Party in Annapolis, Maryland.

WBAL out of Baltimore is reporting that the FBI is fulfilling a search warrant of the facility. There is no word yet about what investigators are searching for, or whether they have found anything, but the firm itself is known as part of the fundraising apparatus of the Republican Party’s national operations.

The investigation itself is not being run by a local agency, but by the FBI offices out of Washington, according to WBAL.

The firm is notable for being a “pioneering” organization for utilizing technology in political campaigns across the country, according to WBAL’s Jayne Miller.
