Of course not. The union execs from my union haven't negotiated a new contract for us in over 4 years. We get no COLA raises but they made sure they do.

The unions go great work for working people. It's also difficult work, so their executives deserve to be paid well. Who are you to question that?
That's pure BS. Their work isn't hard. You call sitting on your ass for over 4 years and letting your people work without a contract while they keep raising the dues doing great work for the working people that is hard? I wish I had that job. They are freeloaders.
Fox News doing what they do best. Riling up the working classes against the trade unions. That pretty much sums up why the working class has been decimated over the past 40 years. Not a single country can have a strong working class and middle class without a strong labor union movement.

lmao...You can't have a strong working class if you outsource every damn job available by embracing Globalism. Labor Unions aren't what everyone thinks they are. They are a way of extorting money from their workers just like the Mob does to businesses in the neighborhood. The Mob created labor unions here.

So you think the executive pay of union leaders is OK?

That is absurd. The working class has been "decimated' over the past 40 years because of improvements and efficiencies in the manufacturing process, and due to manufacturers moving jobs off shore due to the ridiculously high demands made by said unions. There is a place for unions, of course, but like anything else, they've swung too far and the market is correcting. Look at the financial melt down in 2008-9. The pay and benefits packages going to auto workers far exceeded that of all but the top tiers of management. Not equaled, but exceeded. Now look at the quality of the product. GM, at the heart of the bailout, was producing absolute trash, and knew they were. They actively covered up manufacturing defects. That says nothing of union leadership extortion of members, and compensation packages that rival those of the CEOs they rail against.
I was union president for a small local where I worked.
Our plant owner had 3 plants with ours being the only union plant.
The young owner ( his father started the 3) was upset that we were union.
He would tell me.........." why do the workers at this plant want to pay union dues so the big shot union guys can go on cruises?"
I found out he paid the workers at the non-union plants the same wages we got minus the cost of union dues.
Who is receiving that " cruise money" at the 2 non-union plants?
Not the workers.
