WASHINGTON — President Trump has never shown any reluctance to sacrifice a surrogate to serve a short-term political need, so he apparently did not think twice this week about exposing a series of staff members to ridicule as he repeatedly shifted his explanation for firing James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director.
Mr. Trump, obsessed with the F.B.I.’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and increasingly frustrated by the hyper-scrutiny of the Washington press corps, is more in need of effective spokesmen than ever, and aides say he is considering a broad shake-up of his team.

But his career-long habit of viewing his public protectors as somewhat disposable, on vivid display after Mr. Comey’s sudden ouster, has not exactly been an incentive to step into the firing line on his behalf.
“The most hazardous duty in Washington these days is that of Trump surrogate because the president constantly undercuts the statements of his own people,” said David Axelrod, a communications and messaging adviser to President Barack Obama.

“You wind up looking like a liar or a fool, neither of which is particularly attractive.”

Over the past few days, Mr. Trump deployed his two top aides — his press secretary, Sean Spicer, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a top deputy — to deliver dubious or false information about his decision-making process.
‘Looking Like a Liar or a Fool’: What It Means to Work for Trump

Only a complete idiot or someone with no morals themselves, would accept a job offer from the POS BACKSTABBER-Trump!

President Bonkers doesn't give a sheet about his staff.

However, VP Pence is who he ought to worry about. Pence is not happy with the accumulating video records of his being sent out toting the WH line about Flynn and now Comey, only to be proved a liar when the WH changes its original story.

So far, no GOP legislation has been signed into law...NOTHING. When the GOP Congress realizes that President Bonkers is an impediment to their agenda, Pence will be there to start the process to invoke the 25th Amendment, to remove our current mentally ill president from office.

That is when everyone of us needs to march on Washington and DEMAND a special election, because anyone who chose to be part of this dirt-bag's administration.... has to be a dirt-bag themself!

Well, let us not get carried away. The Constitution certainly does not provide for a 'special election'. Donald John Trump shall continue to be President, unless he is impeached (unlikely, in my opinion) or resigns after two years (an opinion I first voiced back in the summer).

I will say, that prior to the election quite a bit was made of Mr. Trump's loyalty. However, it appears that this trait was overstated, at least concerning non-family members.

Bold facing your opinion does not make it fact. Sorry.

Here is the facts: Obama is a disgraced failure in nearly every respect, and Hilly is a 2 time loser who will never become POTUS. These are good times.

Trump will never leave the presidency voluntarily. He'll have to be kicked out, because his narcissistic personality won't let him resign. His grandiose view of himself cannot be challenged. The Republicans in Congress have a lot to answer for, to even support him this long, knowing what a powder keg this man is and the danger he represents to not only the U.S. but the entire world.

I know some people that worked for Trump in his casinos and they told me how much of condescending, controlling, narcissist he is. He burned a lot of construction companies with his four bankruptcies and it shows how bad a businessman he is.

His supporter's in the Midwest didn't know him and they were mislead. His core support comes from people that vote Republican no matter who is running.

He is out of his league, he should just retire and fly the world playing golf at his golf courses instead of being president and Destroying his legacy.
