Lefties, if you want to convince people to give up meat, you're going to have to do better than talking down on everyone and throwing a hissy fit over the issue everywhere you go. Parading manipulated, traumatized and brainwashed children like Greta does nothing to legitimatize your fight.

If you folks want to win, you're going to have to make a real effort and contribute something of worth and value to this world. A vegetarian whopper or big mac (that actually tastes like the real thing) would be a great start. And if you could offer it at a competitive price that everyone could afford, than you would be well on your way to making real, meaningful changes.

But the dems typically are heavy on the hot air and light on the effort and commitment, which is why the left has nothing to show for their decades of whining about meat consumption.

You sit down and hush! You watch yourself or you're going to be forced onto a soy diet and living in an efficiency apartment near a light rail line!

Does Harrison Ford still have a fleet of aircaft, eight to nine motorbikes, four or five BMWs, a couple of Harleys, a couple of Hondas and a Triumph. As well as an LA Mansion , although I thnk he sold that, and an 800 acre ranch in Wyoming.

Harrison Ford nearly crashes plane again - this time into airliner before landing on taxiway - The Telegraph (2017)

Indeed, he has a fleet of aircraft, cars and motorbikes, had more than one house and a ranch.

It is indeed the very definition of hypocritical, and on top of that he's still grumpy all the time.

I am just surprised he's attending the conference as he's usually very private and shuns the limelight.

Think of all the workers required to manufacture all these fun time toys for Harrison Ford... Imagine all that meat they had to consume to get the necessary energy to perform such labor. Imagine all the fossil fuels they burned getting themselves to and from work. Not to mention all the pollution created during the manufacturing processes. Harrison Ford has no right to lecture anyone.

OP, who cobbles together these phony and disingenuous SOUND AND VIDEO BITES/HIT PIECES that are then distributed on social media sites masquerading as journalism? And why?

And, andywire ( and the others who immediately decide to use it to condemn all lefties for existing ), why do you then distribute it with your own slander, fact-less spin, lies and gross generalizations attached?

Shameful intentional fomentation of unnecessary conflict and not very nice, honorable or brave, IMHO. Let alone truthful!

Exactly - it just reeks of hypocrisy and ths worshipping of a young girl is beyond stupid.

Science and engionneering may help reduce the effects and impact but it's people studying and researching that will help solve any problems and not a bunch of leftwing hypocritics worshipping a young girld like she is some kind of god.

As for eating in Burger King, why would you eat in Burger King in Spain, which is a country with fantastic local and national food.

Ohhh please... The so called activists such as Harrison Ford, Leonardo Decaprio and Al Gore jet around in private jets, limousines and huge yachts while lecturing the masses about global warming. Now I don’t care that they do so go around jet setting, but the hypocrisy is so overwhelming and boggles the mind that some fall for their BS. Even Greta is falling for it and became star struck when meeting Leonardo and Gore. She would have gotten some of my respect had she admonish them for their huge hypocrisy.
