I don't need to run philosophical circles around you. That is neither here nor there. Try to give an intelligent and objective answer to the question or stop wasting your time.
I answered you question completely. Obviously your avoiding a real answer to your question. And you are to afraid to answer my question to you.

Need to come out of your safe space there guy.

Anyone who uses a "scorpion and frog" story to try to prove some type of opinion is the one who needs to go back to their "safe space", guy. That is nursery rhyme material.

Did you at least acknowledge half-heartedly that social-welfare liberals are in fact hypocrites? That I am not so sure about.

Social and economic leftists have created the label "red' state to name the more conservative states who are trying to oppose the indoctrinated leftist ideologies of the people who are fleeing to their states. It is nothing but a leftist crock of nonsense, BS and lies.

More socially and economically conservatives are not fleeing their states to move to liberal-nanny states. That would be leftist insanity, which is common. Conservative states are just trying to prevent the leftists who are moving to their states from becoming the states the leftists are fleeing from.

So why exactly are leftist liberals flocking to more conservative states but bringing all of their leftist baggage with them? Can you really blame the more conservative states for pushing back?
I'm just going to say this. My parents came from NY. They lived in a small coal mining town. The liberals closed those coal mines down. So then, some of my family became carpenters. But you had to be part of unions to work up there, and if they wanted to go on strike, you had to go with them. The cost of living and taxes was going up so high, by early 1970's, my dad decided to move the family down to Florida where it was more free. When he got there, he was met with hostility. The rednecks of the states were afraid the New Yorkers would come down and fill the Florida state with their laws and taxes. My father was a simple man, and was more than happy to make enough to care for his family and have a few vacations here and there. The family settled in and hasn't moved since.

The company I work for came from NY. They got tired of the restrictions and taxes, so had no choice but to look for manufacturing friendly states. Florida was probably the best one on the East coast. They moved down here along with all of their employees and never looked back.

We now have a large group of college graduates from California. Some of them did work and started families there, but the cost of living, the high taxes and the sad fact that home ownership is dead in California unless you are a multimillionaire. So, in my opinion, productive people and manufacturing businesses have been fleeing liberal controlled areas for some time. The only family and friends that I know that are living in liberal areas are either on welfare, or stationed in the military that just so happens to be in a liberal area.

So what does that say for the state of social-welfare liberalism of the states that these people left? Did it actually help them or give them an incentive to force them out of a system that purports to help them? What do you think will happen to the places that everyone flees to from these liberal areas? Would it make these areas more liberal or conservative?

What would the effect be? Did Detroit start out as being more liberal or conservative than it ended up as?

1. Half heartedly. Please. Your anger inhibits your ability to give me full credit for admitting something. Shows your weakness of character.

2. As to the rhyme a perfectly fits this thread and it's topic. It's also perfectly fits your mentality.....that of a third grader. Time to let go of your security blanket and Face the real world.

By the way I'm going to follow you to this whole thread. I enjoy trolling trolls.

You obviously have no comprehension of cause and effect and live in a state full of similar people or those of denial. I know what I am talking about. Ask a clear and concise question and maybe I will offer you an intelligent answer.

Well I know for the most part Massachusetts is doing just fine. And it's a nanny state.

Also know that. Northern Virginia where I'm now doing contract work. Is rock in the house. She has plenty of social safety net. But it also has tons of money. And people are moving here from all over the country.

The bay state is doing 'fine' because of Wall St. capitalism and it's education system consisting of many colleges who are producing corporate minions at a rampant pace, many of whom spend tens of thousands getting into long term debt to end up working for wage slavery or corporate greed. Is that something to be proud of to you?

Not really.

The movement is not into states, but cities. And the move is being made because living in cities is more economical.

And for whatever reason cities are far more liberal than conservative.

I dont know anyone who really moves to a "state" per say. Everyone I know moves across state lines for a specific job, or they went to college somewhere and decided to stay. And those are usually liberal areas in and of themselves.

top 5 Net migration

Arizona 11.1, purple, lean red.
Colorado 11.1,Purple, lean blue
Florida 16.0 Red, lean purple
Nevada 14.4 purple, even
Oregon 14.0 Blue
Washington Blue 12.7

You only have 1 truly red state in the top 5, and its Florida, which most people would call purple. Meanwhile , you have to solidly blue states.

Bottom 5

Wyoming -6.5
North Dakota -6.2
Illinois -6.5
Kansas -4.4
New York -3.7

State Migration Rates, Net Totals: 2011-2016

either way, as I said, this is a dumb argument.
see Metro area growth below

US metro area domestic migration map - Business Insider

No one is moving to the "Suburban South " they are moving to;

In Georgia: Atlanta and Savannah
In South Carolina: Charleston and Columbia
In Texas: Austin, Houston, Dallas
Heck, if you look at the list they have of the places people are leaving, only one is from a blue state. Most are in solid red states.

So
