And that's great that you feel that way. But to me, Mother's Day is a day to honor my own mother, not everyone else's mother. My mother is deceased as is Trump's. So I guess I don't see that golfing is a big deal. When your mother is gone, there isn't much you can do to bring her back. What I do not consider Mother's Day to be is "Wife's Day." If we want a Wife's Day, we should set one up.
You don't have a wife, do you?
My ex thought the same thing after I gave birth to his child without an epidural.
I threw a lamp at him and told him not to even think about coming around until he made it right.
Ended up leaving his inconsiderate, sorry behind a few years later. Then, he had the nerve to be surprised.
Mother's Day is a Family Day, especially with young kids in the family. Dad helps the kid make Mom breakfast in bed, or they go out to brunch, or Dad grills the dinner. Makes sure the kid buys Mom a card or makes Mom a card.
Maybe for you. Let other people live their life as they see fit. Bunch of fricking Gladys Kravitzes around here.
ok,so we know he isn't the traditional President nor the traditional father. We also don't know if he did or didn't spend mom's day with them or why. You are basing this on something your read on a blog, always so accurate. Add to that, what he does in his private life, whether we think it is right or not has little to do with what he does as our President. We are not living in a fairy tail world where daddy helps kids make presents for mommy or helps pick out a present and the president certainly lives a different life. I certainly did not support him cause of his winning personality.
Bill Gates and Justin Trudeau both posted lovely tributes and photos on FaceBook today to wish their wives Happy Mother's Day and to thank them for doing a great job co-parenting their kids. Anyone know if the King of Twitterspere warmed up his thumbs wishing is wife anything today?
Are you guys seriously saying that a Dad shouldn't celebrate Mother's Day with his wife and kids? That golfing is a good excuse to skip it? The "family-values" party hits a new low.
one person doesn't make an entire party.
Someone not taking a day that has become way to commercialized seriously doesn't really make a lot of difference in the long run.
