I don't think attacking someone for their opinion is appropriate. We have the right to express ourselves and say what we want.
With that said it is our right to choose if we want healthcare or not. It is the right of the American an people to have affordable healthcare for those who want it. The Government should ensure and step in to make sure healthcare is affordable.

She has clarified her position and said she feels privileged to have health insurance herself but it should be a right.

Yes under the ridiculous competition the young ladies usually say things they don't mean.

But yeah she fixed it. Sometimes it is a good idea to raise questions about something somebody says or seek clarification.

it already is a right...always has been

EVERYONE has ALWAYS had access to healthcare

INSURANCE is NOT CARE

your DOCTOR is CARE

you want/need care....open up the yellow pages.......find a doctor.....make an appointment....... go to the appointment......

its real simple......

but remember you are receiving a service...... its that doctors job/responsibility/right to charge you for that service

its NOT a right to have someone else pay your bill for you

Those who argue it is a privilege, should know the meaning of the word

Privilege: a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people.

Right: a right that is believed to belong justifiably to every person.

I got the impression that she feels lucky to have good healthcare through her job and wished for that for others but not that if you don't have that situation you should be screwed. That must be disappointing to a lot of people who thought she was so alt-cool.

How about you also post the definition of care and insurance.
