Healthcare may be a privilege, but in a country like the US with the wealth we have here, it's pretty disgusting that all of us aren't afforded that privilege.
Exactly whose wealth should be utilized to pay for the privilege we all should be afforded?
Every child has a right to education since our government is required to provide it for every US citizen. These schools are payed (if think you mean paid) for through our (LOCAL not federal) taxes.
Actually, we don't. I doubt I'd get far attempting to get one of my kids into Harvard by claiming He has a right to an education, you know.
A right to public education - and obviously this was meant at the elementary and high school levels...I didn't think that needed to be explicitly stated (since I thought, again, that it was obvious).

how do you not have that privilege/right ??
EVERYONE has/and has had access to healthcare.....
open up the yellowpages....find a doctor...make an appointment.... get the service required... then pay for that service rendered......... don't EXPECT someone else to pay YOUR bill
What rights do we pay for? Name one. If you have to pay for it, it's not a right, it's a privilege.
Exactly. The 2nd amendment gives me the right to bear firearms. If I am entitled to free healthcare as a right then I want my ammunition provided for free to exercise my rights.
I'll make it easier for the meatheads to understand. You have a right to go get HC, that provider ALSO has the right to bill you
As they bill for their services everywhere else in the world also.
