Exactly whose wealth should be utilized to pay for the privilege we all should be afforded?

Although, if you want to go down this road: we currently have a right to education...which is not free...so...
Actually, we don't. I doubt I'd get far attempting to get one of my kids into Harvard by claiming He has a right to an education, you know.

A right to public education - and obviously this was meant at the elementary and high school levels...I didn't think that needed to be explicitly stated (since I thought, again, that it was obvious).

But there's your clarification.

Different issue entirely. You could have a Universal HC system that is local/states-based, too.

how do you not have that privilege/right ??

EVERYONE has/and has had access to healthcare.....

open up the yellowpages....find a doctor...make an appointment.... get the service required... then pay for that service rendered......... don't EXPECT someone else to pay YOUR bill

Exactly. The 2nd amendment gives me the right to bear firearms. If I am entitled to free healthcare as a right then I want my ammunition provided for free to exercise my rights.

Everyone's.

What is so wrong with all of us, as a society, ensuring that everyone has proper medical care?

And, don't hit me with how I should pay more taxes. I'm willing to bet I pay more than you do already.

I'll make it easier for the meatheads to understand. You have a right to go get HC, that provider ALSO has the right to bill you
