Reuters seems to have confirmed the WaPo piece. It's looking bad for Trump right now, but we will just have to wait and see until more details emerge.
I doubt its just me but I am willing to admit it but I voted for Trump because I wanted to see him break the system,the establishment whatever you want to call it its grip on DC,on America and if he can't do that then I have absolutely NO PROBLEM seeing him bring America to its knees no matter what. He is America's savior and just like jesus he will be persecuted before people realize what he was for them....If you can't fix it,DESTROY IT! We can rebuild! Even our founders said a revolution every so many years was a good thing....its been 150 years since we had ANY kind of revolution.
Of course Russia is leaking all of this, Putin and his buddies are having a great time laughing at Trump.

Yup it's being confirmed that the story is accurate.
Interesting that if true- Trump technically wouldn't violate any law, however he may have violated his Oath. However since the far right seems to only consume news in a vacuum, it makes for a troubling paradox for the GOP.

Along with the next mess he makes of things, the longer he is office the worse it looks. Oh well we got the government we deserve and Putin is doing the happy dance and planning his celebration ball when we finally go at each other with guns. We are an easily played People.

Interestingly, Maddow points out that the Trump transition team adopted the recommendation that the US Attorneys should not all be released at the same time. But on March 10th Trump reversed course and fired them all. Hmmm... getting rid of all the free thinkers?
