He didn't say he doesn't believe in 'over exercising'. He said exercise -- (that indicates even moderate exercise) depletes your energy.
It would be ridiculous for anyone to defend what he said.
Shaking my head.
Actually as far as I can tell he didn't say anything except this: Donald Trump, "To defeat crime and radical Islamic terrorism in our country, to win trade in our country, you need tremendous physical and mental strength and stamina," he said in August 2016. "Hillary Clinton doesn't have that strength and stamina."
To the topic, I run an average of seven miles a day (during the running season). But I know very well that I won't be doing that when I'm 70 years old. Anyone who thinks that a 70-year-old-man (besides a very few who are EXTREMELY genetically lucky) should be doing so is not being realistic or rational at all.
Trump is in a whole lot better condition than quite a number of 70-year-olds I know. And not a one of those that I know are hitting the gym, running marathons, and playing superman. I'm sure there are some, but most are lucky to be walking at all without a hip replacement. Some are hobbling down the bike path, walking their dog; none are competing in Iron Man, Ragnar, or Ultra Marathons.
Yeah, get a clue people, you do have LIMITED energy when you are 70 years old. Don't any of you have older parents or grandparents? Have some respect.
I guess jobs will now be lost in the healthcare and physical fitness industry. Trunp might as well ban body building, wrestling and all other sporting events.
What's the point? Why not use this energy in lawn mowing jobs that will open by the millions after the wall is built and all Mexicans are sent back?
Truly sad if he thinks that. Exercise actually energizes me as it does a lot of other people.

My dad, who is 81, is in better shape than Trump. You know why? Because he's been exercising for years.

I knew this item 25 years ago when I read the book "TRUMPED" by John R D'Donnell
Not - new - news
Well it certainly explains why the orange tub of lard looks like he hasn't exercised in 30 years.
