It could probably be included in the current investigation. Special councils can go in any direction they want including the opposition party.

Except that they were not colluding with the Russians, that would be the trump, and they were not money laundering with the Russians, that would the trump camp, and they are not under investigation, yet, that would be the trump camp. You obviously did not read the story. I know its wordy not as easy to comprehend as a Colbert monologue. The story was run by Circa not the NY post and is based on a FISA court rebuke of the Obama administration two weeks before the election. For six months they were out of control in spying on Americans including the Trump team.

Correct, they have a mandate but they can report information they happen to find and the Congress can proceed with it or not as they call it
We need the SP because there is ample evidence that there are serious issues within the trump camp and possibly because trump himself is in it up to his neck. Look at it this way, if trump did nothing wrong this will vindicate him and put this and probably some future investigations to bed because what he claimed was true, you should Welcome that. If not then you only have to admit to yourself that where there is a lot of smoke there is fire. We Shall See, nothing will prevent that, Nothing.
