I don't rely on the press...I rely on the actual interviews with Trump, his staff and other politicians.

And guess what -- it still is a freak'n hot mess. Even if you don't listen to the commentary, panel discussions, analysis...it's a mess.

At the time that the e-mails and Clinton were being investigated it was everywhere.

And then we'd cut to Trump and his rallies and the mobs cheering.

If people were really thinking the media was trying to get Clinton elected, they did a lousy job.

They covered and wrote stories about the hearings. They weren't covering the rumor mill very much.

I was sure of it then, when half stories and hours of talk of dire outcomes based on rumors were the offering, and am sure media is manipulating many of us now with the same.

Look, there is no question that viewership equals profits, and news organizations are not non profit.....we get that. HOWEVER, they also have a duty to report what they are seeing, they are our eyes and ears, and are the ones right there asking the tough questions.

Let's pretend for a minute that all of them just disappeared. Would we really want a country where we did not have access to what is going on in this WH ? Can you imagine how corrupt and arrogant ANY administration would be if they did not have reporters fact checking and reporting on every move they made ? There is a name for a country like that............RUSSIA. The news there is directed by the government and run by the government. Do you want that ? (Yeah, I know, some of you do! )

Thank God we have a free press. Thank God he gave us the brains to be able to look at that news and decide for ourselves what is important and true, and what is not. If we had not had reporters during times like Watergate, we would never have known the depths of Nixons' corruption. If we did not have the press now, we would have no idea of some of the dangerous things Trump is doing either.

Your side only dislikes the press because they are questioning your cult leader, pure and simple.

Honestly, I think the press is doing its best to get people riled up in hopes of increasing viewership and clicks.

What do you think?
Absolutely and it's a no-brainer. Still, participants continue to indulge in the copy/paste Facebook feed frenzy, with duplicate posts multiplying like gremlins on steroids and often give no original thought to what they are actually posting.

Not enough coverage of "Pizzagate"? LOL

That's OK. Fox covers the rumors. They're mainstream, aren't they?

Come on, you don't think Hillary Clinton or Obama ever gave classified intel to foreign leaders? They did, and maybe one story came out about it and then never again. Obama made a press release and listed the name of the CIA chief in Afghanistan, and the media called it a mistake. I'm sure it was, but it exposed more than Trump's foolish remark about laptops. And as far as I can tell, the people who leaked it and the Israelis themselves made this issue far more serious than Trump's remark to the Russians. If it was so bad, then why leak the government agency's country of origin in the damn Washington Post? At least they covered for Obama's release by not mentioning the name erroneously released in Afghanistan.
