Can you imagine a president giving a commencement speech at the Coast Guard Academy and using the occasion to whine about how 'mean' everyone is being to him? They have to have been laughing at him.
Then again, his Liberty College commencement speech was right out of "Legally Blonde.'
That's what ALL of this is. Just a response to the EPIC butt kicking the left got in November..its one big WHINE FEST by the left.

Don't you think those servicemen and servicewomen deserved a speech that was geared toward honoring THEIR accomplishments? If I'd had a kid in that graduating class, I would have stood up and BOOED.

It's true that the media has been completely unfair to Trump. The New York Times and Washington Post have never given Trump a chance from the beginning, and there's definitely a double standard in regards to how these organizations have treated Trump's scandals versus Obama's and Clinton's scandals. This is why confidence in the media is at a near low. Of course, it SHOULD be the media's job to serve as a check on government and politicians - but they mysteriously never seem to do this with Democrats, or if they do the story is buried where nobody will read it.
Of course it's also true that Trump himself is proving to be an incompetent president, and that he is at his core a businessman with some shady tendencies. The hardcore supporters keep insisting he's playing 5D chess, but Occam's razor suggests he just has no idea what's going on or what he's doing.
And it's depressing that so many people are so polarized that they can't realize both of these things are true.
You know what the media is hard on him, that's true, but you know what he has been insulting and attacking the media since day one AS WELL. Remember how he insulted the likes of Megyn Kelly, Anderson Cooper, Joe Scarbough, etc.? This shows what a moron he is.
His rationale is he doesn't want the media to go after him, so what he does is insult the media in order to make it stop? It's so stupid. If he had half a brain, he would ignore what the media was saying about him, do his thing, and TRUST ME the media would back off. The problem is he makes direct attacks against the media AND he also gives them the ammunition with his crazy tweets.
If he would ignore the media (like all other Presidents have) and stop tweeting, the media would have a lot less to say about him. They would back off because there would be less stories to tell.
But Trump and his supporters are too stupid to understand that.
It has never been about anyone else but him, from the getgo. He simply cannot accept criticism--the signature of a narcissist. This was supposed to be about the graduates, but, as usual, he uses the podium to vent his anger for everyone and everything who has "wronged" him. Bottom line is---it was not the time or place, and his behavior was inappropriate and childish.
as a dem we are better off with Trump, at least as long as he sticks to thieving and stroking his ego without starting wars.
If Pence gets in he will likely bring the GOP together and will sign anything as long as it has it has a biblical tone to the bill.. They might get productive and rip away the last of what has made america such a great place.
Sigh...all we need is one HUGE attack or disaster to allow him to declare martial law and start this ball rolling. Its gotta be on his mind....how long can he let the Anti American media derail America and what we voted for before he takes charge and destroys them once and for all. They have gotten too big for their britches.
