I read some posts that complain of socialized medicine and go on to say we need to take better care of our vets.
Here's a test you can try:
Do you know a vet?
Ask them if they are disabled.
Something like 80% are. That's a HUGE number of people on government healthcare.

And, why is it now 80% when after WWII it was closer to 20%? Because disabled vets get tax free checks for life along with free healthcare. You would be amazed at what qualifies as a disability. Things we private sector contractors call part of working for a living the military call disabilities...very liberal!
