Do Republicans realize they paved the way for Trump's impeachment via their attacks on Bill Clinton?

As I said - did you read? - he lied about a private intimate matter, which was legal, about which the questions should have not been asked, which did not impact the country.
You mean the guy whose crime was simply lying about what he did in private with someone?
If Clinton acted like Trump he would have been impeached and gone in 60 days under the Republicans.
He lied under oath. Why he did, or about what matter, is irrelevant. Lying under oath is a crime. No gray. No "simply". There are not levels of this crime.

Can you possibly be so willfully dense as to think that's worse than the way the Trump investigation is headed? Yes, "so far," as you say. Yet, many smoking guns, and he's barely past the 100-day mark.
Funny, I can't help but wonder if you were one of the many accusing Hillary, who, despite all her years in the arena also has not been found guilty of anything serious, despite the appalling sight of Trump supporters chanting "String her up!"
Lying under oath is NOT legal however. Which he knew.
If more mainstream conservatives/republicans had the choice to remove Trump and make Pence president...you don't think they would?
I bet most Republicans are hoping for impeachment moreso than Democrats. A chance to get Trump out of office and do some image-repairing before likely losing the senate in 2018.
I don't; at least not right now. As long as the republican base remains enthusiastic about Trump, the republicans will never move toward impeachment ~ no matter what he does.

Lying on one's security clearance application is also a crime. Think Kushner will go to the pokey?

Not sure. In fact, nobody is sure that he lied. He might have forgotten the conversations (as he's stated). Kind of like Hillary's constant "forgetting" things.
If he did lie, then it's up to the proper authorities to decide if he does time or not.
Actually, I was trying to explain a few months ago how Clinton supporters paved the way for the P-grabber in chief by coming out in droves excusing his repeated sexual infidelities as not being material to him doing a good job.
I personally wish Clinton had just told them to go pound sand but no, he lied under oath.
Repeated attempts by several posters here to portray it as just lying are frankly a sign that their butter has slipped towards the edge of their toast.
