Often charged, Baltimore man goes to trial and is acquitted in quintuple shooting at Memorial Day cookout - Baltimore Sun

What does it say about our judicial system where not just repeat violent offenders are continually allowed to roam the streets of our cities? Really, 10 times is not enough to lock this guy up?

Nope...10 times is not enough..you must have credible evidence--just 'knowing' that he did it is not enough.

If there is blame..it attaches to the Police and the D.A.--who blew the case(s).

So then there's an overabundance of crappy DAs? Why not hold them accountable?

Do you really believe a better system would be imprisonment for simply being accused a certain number of times?

We should hold them accountable..and in the many places where the D.A. is an elected position--that's how to do it.

We have a system that is based on the premise that 'better ten guilty people go free, than one innocent person be convicted,"

Unless you disagree with this..sometimes the bad guy is going to win.

Isn't the main problem the lack of cooperation by the locals with law enforcement? If, as in places like Baltimore, nobody knows nuthin', that makes it pretty hard to win cases and put the bad guys away.
