A viral video involving a man hitting a woman for calling him a racial slur has sparked conversation online on what’s an acceptable reaction to a testy situation.
The incident was uploaded to the web May 5, showing a man arguing with a woman about her constant use of the n-word. During the nearly minute-long video, the woman puts her hand in the man’s face as he tries to get off the bus.
I witnessed an incident like this many years ago. I stepped between the black man and white woman. It is NOT right to EVER hit ANYONE, male or female black or white unless you are defending yourself from a physical attack. Both parties are wrong and I don't praise either action.
Definitely not the response I expected from you. We are all entitled to our own opinion but even I will say what she got was a consequence of her reckless mouth. People, regardless of what political spectrum they come from, need to learn that you can't say whatever the hell you want to say just because it's a "free" country. It's called respect and restraint and we use it daily in this world in order to survive and keep peace.
Hmmm, then you know what, I think the FBI should have arrested all of those Black Lives Matter protesters that were shouting out for wanting dead cops. Arrest them for inciting threats and for terrorism. After all, you say people shouldn't be free to say whatever they want.
I wouldn't go that far. There are things that you just shouldn't say to people. And if you do, you should expect to get your ass beat.
But then you say this.

What the hell kinda response did you expect? That I'd slap some strange lady who sounds drunk for saying the N-word in a public setting where I'd be filmed looking like a bully and a woman beater?
Have I ever said something to you that indicates that I think I'm retarded?
As usual, your beliefs are inconsistent and all over the place.
I don't know what is more sad: the fact that no one else on the bus stood up in defense of the man and told the woman off and just watched him be called a N$$#$3 or the fact that no one else on this thread has even acknowledged that aspect. A lot of people just watched and did nothing about it.
Funny how people are feeling sorry for the woman but maybe if others on the bus stood up for the man, he probably wouldn't have slapped her. People just watched her call him N$#$#.
You see this in schools. There are so many bystanders that watch people get bullied. They are part of the problem. They do nothing to help the victim.
