Well if Trump wanted to show some courage he could have withheld some of his military support as leverage for action to address the radical Islamic training schools in SA. Talk is cheap.

The kind of reception President Trump received in Saudi Arabia hasn't been seen for decades, and is in stark contrast to Obama's, who was viewed as being partial to Iran (no kidding, even they saw it)!

Nope. Video at the url.

Here is the actual speech:
Trump Tells Muslim Leaders: 'Drive Out' the Terrorists - NBC News

Also note: the Saudi monarchy has funded dubious schools and “charities” throughout the Islamic world. Those organizations have been hotbeds of anti-Western, and especially, anti-American, indoctrination. The schools, for example, not only indoctrinate students in a virulent and extreme form of Islam, but also teach them to hate secular Western values.

A large proportion of the funds that support al-Qaeda and other terror groups comes from within Saudi Arabia, many experts say, though not directly from Saudi leaders. "For years, individuals and charities based in Saudi Arabia have been the most important source of funds for al-Qaeda; and for years, Saudi officials have turned a blind eye to this problem," a Council on Foreign Relations independent task force report said.
Fifteen of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia. Two were from the United Arab Emirates, one was from Lebanon, and one was from Egypt.

The Saudis will not try to rid the world of terrorism unless they stop funding Wahabi schools.

What is Wahhabism? The reactionary branch of Islam from Saudi Arabia said to be 'the main source of global terrorism'*

^Also didn't the 9/11 commission conclude that Saudi Arabia's royal families had real connections with the terrorists. Crazy how much trouble seems to come directly and indirectly from Saudi Arabia, but yet they are one of the closest, actually probably the closest ally the USA has in the Middle East. LOL what is going on folks?

Oil? I know many of you will say this, but I think the amount of oil the USA actually gets from Saudi Arabia is not significant.
Is it the petro dollar? all oil trades are down in USA dollar, even if the USA is not involved.
Or maybe Saudi Arabia is really the good guy....lol maybe

That is just not true at all and doesn't address the point I was making. Who the heck rates all the presidential visits to Saudi Arabia, is there a website. They have welcomed every US president.

It appears that Trump now agrees with Obama on Iran, he wasn't being impartial it was common sense. Rouhani was just reelected defeating the hard liners, that is progress. Cancelling the Iran agreement was just a pipe dream but if they did you can bet a Iranian right wing candidate would be in office.

Trump can not change a single word of the Koran
That is why his call will be empty
Because the treatment of Islamic terrorism is by addressing its roots
Not by meeting with leaders who believe in Islamical-takeea

Many Muslims tried tried to modernize and get away from theocratic rule but were brutally suppressed during Arab Spring.

This..... Rouhani, who not only defeated hardliners but did so handily, is another step closer to getting a more moderate Supreme Ruler elected.

Oh, please. It is meaningless. You think the world doesn't know the way to Donald's heart is to suck up to him. They're laughing behind that insecure, needy fool's back.

If you asked Donald Trump now what a Wahabi school is and where it is located and who runs them - he would be clueless.

There is no well defined terrorists in the Middle East people! There is only changing allegiance. The terrorists of today is your ally of tomorrow. Your allies today is your enemies of tomorrow. Saddam and OBL were our friends at one point!

If the Middle East leaders were skeptical if this buffoon really is as stupid as the world say he is, now they have the confirmation.
.
Yet, according to your fellow liberal, Goodnight, Obama has stated similar things.
