Most will NOT be leaving. We have to worry about the criminal aliens and should legalize otherwise law abiding illegals. We as Americans should demand a sensible immigration policy that pairs legalization with renewed and strict enforcement of our immigration laws. It would be uncompassionate and inhumane to uproot millions of decent people already settled here.

Try to find a Conservative Republican like that nowadays.
He didn't do it by forcing nonbelievers to pay taxes. It is the taxing authority not what is done with the money that is the root of what is a political, not a spiritual fight
Saw this on 60Minutes this evening about some churches and synagogues defying President Trumps Executive Order and harboring illegals. As a Christian that is middle of the road politically I think it's interesting because it goes against the stereotype that all Christians are right winged. I'm not sure how I feel about this at the moment but was interesting nonetheless. Link below...
The Catholic Church has a monetary reason for harboring illegals. Their pews were empty and they were running out of priests before the Mexicans came to town. I've been saying that since back in the Bush days.

WHY DIDN'T they get try to get green cards all those years----- because IT is NOT that easy-- especially if you crossed the border already-- you get on the black list- regular green cards take 10 yrs -(if approved) the system is jacked- why the left is asking for reform the laws in place-that are as old as dirt-
but Repubs wont talk about it-or shoot it down in congress - over and over-

What purpose is served by deporting someone who has worked and paid US taxes for decades, has American born children, and no criminal history, in many cases a more ethical personal history than those who made the laws they're afoul of?
And IF there's to be no discretion of prosecution, shouldn't a "sensible immigration policy" include tracking down, prosecuting, and jailing those who hire and profit from illegal labor?
