It amazes me that liberals try to guilt trip others by simpering about the poor going hungry.

Liberals kept the poor poor. They can support the poor.

And once again we have that stale as crap mantra of tax cuts for the rich. Despite there is no such thing. By why let a good lie go to waste?

And your post is the standard playbook for liberals; cast everything that Republicans do as hurting the 'poor,' and helping the 'rich.'

You ignore anything that will benefit the poor in a more meaningful way, by getting them OFF welfare and actually WORKING. If they have a job, isn't that much better?

Obama put more people on welfare than any president in recent history, while Republicans have always focused on (and successfully) putting people back to work. Obama ended some of those important programs that successfully cut welfare roles and got people working. (Welfare-to-work).

Working is a good thing!

How many people were out of work at the end of the Bush administration? (this is not a defense of Obama)

The plus 10% were the results of Bush (which in reality was well over 10%)

People on hand outs increased in each of Obama's first 4 years and never significantly dipped during his last 4 years.

Obama's Trickle Down Economics with money to big banks simply didn't work for the bottoms half of Americans.

Yet it's ok for cons to shame the poor.
If you succeeded on a level playing field I could almost understand it. But those that can't win a fair fight shouldn't act invincible

Yet many hungry DO work. But greedy employers want to pay chit.
Can't work a job you aren't offered because there's more seekers than jobs.
Human decency is a good thing!!

This is of course not true. Just remember 2007-2008. Then remember the reversal of the Bush tax cuts, leaving the middle and low income earners alone.

Then watch the rise of the stock market since 2010 when it all happened.

They were never reversed.
