Outgoing California Democratic Party chairman John Burton left his post of eight years on Saturday by waving his middle fingers in the air and rallying his party’s annual convention to chant “**** Donald Trump!”
Cameras also captured House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi laughing as Burton flipped off the president. Former Obama administration Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis was also spotted relishing in the event.
I did not read your article, but another article reported that a few days back Burton also stated that protesters outside organized by a Heath worker Union, protesting for single payer in CA, should f off.
Maybe the press is trying to bury the CA Dems fear that the electorate will demand single payer. They still can't get it to pencil out fiscally.
I have no problem with saying that that is quite low. Much as I despite Trump, I would expect someone in that position to conduct themselves with dignity and express their disapproval in a more mature manner. It undercuts their message.
