and the guy who made it is due to be replaced in a year or so. Maybe trump will fire him earlier than that.

In the mean time, trump is simply saying that the ethics watchdog has no right to ask for copies of any waivers that trump has issued to lobbyists in his administration.

"Both Mr. Trump and Mr. Obama reserved the right to issue waivers to this ban. Mr. Obama, unlike Mr. Trump, automatically made any such waivers public, offering detailed explanations. The exceptions were typically granted for people with special skills, or when the overlap between the new federal work and a prior job was minor."

Shaub responded back to Mulvaney in some detail telling him his attempt to block did not hold water and the he expected all documentation by June 1. I'll be interested to see how Mulvaney responds.

I posted about this yesterday in another thread. Folks should care that he won't release any waivers especially since he swore he would "drain" the swamp.

What's with all this business of trying to hide what's going on?

If there is nothing there, let them have their hearing, everyone sit down and chat and be done with it.

All this stalling, blocking, etc.....it really seems (and I'm not even convinced of that) there is something there.

I know Trump supporters don't think there is absolutely anything but can you agree that just play along with the investigation...let everyone have their say and then let's move on if there is nothing there. If nothing appears...we'd be done in no time.

They do not see it that way, they tell us what to do and call all the shots. The term "Public Servant" has no meaning to them, they are above us all.

Just remember, a public servant did try to handle this (on the ethics committee). They aren't all bad.
