So let me get this straight.

China encourages NKorea to test missiles and issue rhetoric against USA prior to Xi's visit.

Instead of labeling them a currency manipulator, negotiating a better trade deal, and protecting the American Worker, Trump gets conned into giving trade concessions to China to "rein in" the non-threat of NKorea.

So, basically we're protecting the SKoreans (who don't like us), from NKorea (which is no threat to us) at the expense of letting the Chinese win against the American Worker.

And we're supposed to cheer about this?

Awesome.

Donny and Ivanka got what they wanted from China: trademark approvals.

Trump Inc. is alive and humming at its headquarters, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Well, when you put it that way.

Garbage.
China and North Korea have a very bad relationship now. Xi and Kim have never met, not even once. Last year, a North Korean performing group was called back just before the scheduled show day, due to their political conflicts.

And apparently talked Trump out of his bluff to N. Korea.

But, in all fairness--China did give Ivanka all her exclusive trademarks, so we got something out of it.

This.

I agree with you.

This said, I don't believe China has the power to control NK. NK has no power to attack the US, or anybody else. I think people should calm down

When Trump was calling China a "currency manipulator", the left were losing their minds & criticizing Trump for not being more diplomatic. "How dare he treat China like that" "He's gonna get us into WW# with China", etc.

Now that nothing has changed & China are still not named the currency manipulators" list, the left is all bent out of shape...again. Shocking. Meanwhile, we have a real situation that has to be addressed in North Korea.

I'm a non-interventionist. I don't believe in attacking countries that have never threatened us, or attacking on the pretext of humanitarian beliefs. That said, if ever there was a country just begging for a pre-emptive strike it's North Korea. They have nuclear weapons & can deliver them to at least South Korea & Japan at the moment. They have threatened to nuke the US if/when they get the intercontinental capability & they're working on that capability. We have to shut that down, period.

Howe do we do that without starting WW3 or getting our allies in South Korea & Japan microwaved in the process? China is the key to North Korea. Since meeting with Trump China has now moved 150k soldiers to the North Korean border, imposed economic sanctions against North Korea, turned away their shipments of coal & have started buying US coal to boot. That's a very good start.
