That's because there is no evidence.
If there were, the NSA, CIA, FBI and Director of National Intelligence would have presented it a long time ago and Trump would have been indicted by a grand jury.
As for the latest fake news stories about Trump supposedly trying to stop the investigation, all are based on anonymous sources. How surprising!
How do you explain Watergate then? There was evidence. It took 2 years to get and there were plenty of anonymous sources. That's how it works. When you see smoke, you look for the fire. They are looking for the fire now. Maybe there won't be one and there's just smouldering but it's negligent not to look. And if there's nothing there, then that's good news, right?

Trump can't be indicted by a grand jury. That would be decision of impeachment by the House after reviewing all of the information from the Special Counsel, the House and Senate Intel Committees and possibly by either the House or Senate or both Judaical Oversight Committee investigations.
Trump has lately said he can only speak for himself, so it appears he is throwing his campaign team under the bus to avoid being associated with anything they may be implicated in, which for Flynn, this seems inevitable.

No matter what you internet lawyers come up with, Trump and his campaign team are really being investigated. The fact that Trump fired Comey and then said it was because of this Russia thing, only made it worse and brought him a Special Counsel investigation.
And most likely, all this is happening because Trump is so vain, he got incensed that someone dare sully his "big" victory with an accusation that his victory was anything but perfect.
