Here is what is going on.

The Trump/Trump administration is being sued in multiple courts over the Muslim travel ban.

Lawyers in the Detroit case know of a document called the "Giuliani travel ban memo".

The memo drafted by Giuliani was the basis of the travel ban issued by Trump administration and signed by Trump.

The court ordered the "Trump administration" to turn over the memo by May 19, 2017.

The Trump administration has failed to comply.

Some claim this is another impeachable offense.

Thoughts?

Couldn't care less at this point.

Let us know when the witch hunt finds concrete proof of laws being broken.

My two thoughts and cents.

PS The Twitter crew claim the Marshal of SCOTUS personally went to WH to inform them they were now in contempt, however Trump had already left for the Edwards AFB.

They go onto claim the Marshal then drove to Edwards and met Trump personally.

Right!

I remember Giuliani doing the cable news circuit saying that trump wanted a Muslim ban and that he explained how to write if so that it would get past the courts.

Believe I also heard that trump was trying to claim executive privilege on this, but since it happened before Jan 20 that doesn't hold water. He was supposed to turn the memo over by 5-19.

We shall see what the courts decide.

The deadline was Friday. trump's lawyers made a last minute objection to the request, saying a Federal Court cannot order a President to release documents. The ACLU will fight that objection. So for now, the issue remains in Court.

Once the judge rules, I would expect the WH to comply if the ruling goes against them. If they do not comply, it would be a big deal.

After the Manchester Terrorist issue where 23 Kids died,. I think the point of the memo will be lost. Basically all the travel ban was intended to do is to vet those Muslims form suspect countries and which are considered a Terrorist state.

Besides the President can take any measure in Defense of the Homeland.

Thanks.

Meanwhile the 300,000 odd Twitter followers are thinking that Trump is somehow guilty of an impeachable offense.

Notice: I don't link to their articles but admit I read them to see what new claims they make. They have a bigger box than one at Speaker's Square.

55 Muslim national leaders met with Donald Trump in Riyad Saudi Arabia this past weekend.

They spoke unanimously positively about him. Now if the leaders of countries housing 1.6 or so billion Muslims love Trump, why does the 9th circuit hate him? Why do you?

They base their assumption on the Fake News the Liberal Media puts out. No wonder!

I'm not smart enough to know whether it's impeachable. However, I am smart enough to know that when you're under investigation, it's not a good idea to refuse to comply with a court order.
