It wasn't a joke. Colbert used to be an incredibly funny guy who was really good at political satire. He just isn't funny anymore. Somewhere along the way he started taking himself too seriously.

There is. The first amendment of the Constitution. You are familiar with it, yes?

I'd love to see some evidence of anyone being fined by the FCC for anti-Obama remarks.

I wonder how Colbert feels about his ratings being higher because Trump is President. If Clinton had won, he would be in 3rd place. Yet, thanks to President Donald Trump he is number one. Maher, SNL, Colbert, Kimmel, the news outlets are all loving this I assure you. They are playing the disaffected for fools. Egging you all on, daily. BREAKING NEWS my ass.

The sad thing is that you actually believe that...
Conservatives have the victim thing down pat.

Well, it demonstrates two things:

#1 - they were watching

#2 - they figured out what he meant

The only ones taking it seriously are the ones who filed the complaints and Comrade Cheeto. Thin-skinned individuals should stay out of politics.

FCC won't take action against Colbert over Trump joke | TheHill
If he said the same about Odummy, he would have been hanged, shot, beheaded, and his body soaked in urine. Of course the FCC is biased like all government DC organizations.

Only one thing can explain this kind of statement: you don't live in the same reality as me. I'm not sure where your reality is, but I hope you're happy in it, at least.

Well, this IS CD-P&OC--it's safe to assume anything...whether it's correct--another story

Cobert didn't say anything that wasn't true.

Him and entire wh*re administration sucks Putin's willy and are literally paid to do it.

And thanks to Citizens United it is not against the law.
