Yet the discussion is about Obama and Trump--and anything else other than the headlines in the British newspapers that were the original topic.
The US has assured the UK that the leaks will stop, indeed the acting US ambassador Lewis Lukens was on BBC Radio earlier today.
Theresa May will confront Donald Trump over the stream of leaks of crucial intelligence about the Manchester bomb attack when she meets the US president at a Nato summit in Brussels on Thursday.
British officials were infuriated on Wednesday when the New York Times published forensic photographs of sophisticated bomb parts that UK authorities fear could complicate the expanding investigation into the lethal blast in which five further arrests have been made in the UK and two more in Libya
Evidence Trump leaked this? To the New York Times? Please.
trump's statement:
"I am asking the Department of Justice and other relevant agencies to launch a complete review of this matter, and if appropriate, the culprit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. "

Wasn't trump who leaked it.
It was the never trumpers and obama left overs who dance to Putin's tune and divide and destroy the country using trump as an excuse.
Falls square in obama and hillary's lap with their fear mongering, hatefilled treasonous behavior seen throughout the last 8 years and recent campaign.
started with obama sitting in rev wrights church for 20 years listening to hate speech.
Obama's fault because of a corrupt justice system. Hillary should have been prosecuted, immunity not given to all her cronies. Hillary has damaged the country leaking secrets. Obama pardons manning for leaking classified info, celebrated bergdahl, a traitor and has put out a call to overthrow the government thru leaks and media propaganda proliferation trumpeting lies and innuendo..
So what was actually a leak within an intelligence community that should have known better is, by the OP's choice of wording, and immediate seizure by those with their own agenda, falsely depicted as a direct action by Trump.
I'm prepared to wait for a "justification" for this deceit by the OP until there are ice cream parlors in Hell.
Why do you think Therese May will confront Trump about this?
Because unlike you, she knows Trump is the president and is responsible. If he can't keep his people under control, then who can? Who should May talk to?
At some point Trump supporters will have to learn that he is actually responsible for all these blunders. You can't blame everyone else forever.
You don't get it. Other countries who are allies of the US want the US President (whoever that is) to keep their friggin mouth shut about matters that are and should remain classified so they can keep their people safe and help fight terrorism.
It's not about party of right or left, it's about having someone in that job who is emotionally mature, rational, smart, able to keep their mouth shut for some really good reasons, and not throw temper tantrums. Is that really too much to ask for a US President?
And here's a question: why would anyone anywhere defend a president who can't just be rational and mature? Why would you want to hitch your wagon to someone whose staff has to treat them like an insolent teenager?
From this point forward I'm going to use the term "liberal" and "liberals" for the nutty right wingers. They are "liberal" in their blaming of everyone and everything else but won't hold their leader responsible.
You seem to be the one that "doesn't get it" as you are trying to tie this to Trump when the UK was clear it was the US media and those "sources" who leaked to them.
It wasn't Trump and nobody but the angry Trump haters have said it was.
Why don't y'all demand the news reveal who their "anonymous" sources were so you KNOW who to blame? Unless of course you like it that way so you can just toss crap at someone you hate? Why oh why aren't you out there SCREAMING for an independent Prosecutor to figure out who the leakers are and jail them? Afraid of what they may find?
At some point Trump, and his loyalists will have to accept some responsibility for what is happening under their watch.
If you like irony here's one: When Obama took office no one on the right blamed George W. for any lingering messes; they held Obama responsible from day 1.
But not snowflake Trump, oh no. Nothing is his fault. Everything remains the responsibility of who was in office before him.
Irony!
