Reporter repeatedly shoves phone in candidates face, refuses to stop, refuses to speak with candidates press representative, after phone shoved in face long enough, candidate takes down reporter. Reporter surprised at retaliation from the candidate for reporters initial assault.
We need guys like this in office, the press can't just jam crap in peoples faces and not pull back upon request.
So assaulting aggressive reporters is okay? Uh you DO realize this means condoning a mirror image attack with a conservative reporter and a liberal candidate...

Including FOX, since they witnessed the throw down? No one is alarmed, but a few are a bit surprised when a politician shows his inner self in front of the Press, not real smart. But then again some far righties feel empowered by their Party's new political power, and the tone set by their Leader, and think it is ok to take off their mask of respectability. Sign of the times, hopefully this particular Politician will lose his bid and do a little jail time and pay a fine, works for me.

You said it. The day that a free press is squelched in this country is the day we go under the boot. Every single authoritarian system starts with that goal; undermine and destroy independent journalists, and substitute the propaganda of the State. Most people in this country surely know that. There are always a few that would celebrate an act like this out of ignorance, but we can hope they are a small minority. We HAVE to assume that. Otherwise there is little hope of a future for American democracy; free press is the cornerstone.
