Yeah, it's like the whole country is acting like those "educated" kids, thugs, rioters produced by the "liberal" indoctrination camps. Maybe the "conservatives" are becoming as "liberal" as the "liberals" now? Stalin said that our children would be his children...he was right all along...(FDR smiles from hell)
This false equivalency bs has to stop. It is part of what is driving it. There are maybe 200 anarchist kids in the east bay who do what you are talking about. They aren't running for congress. They aren't in the administration. On one hand you have a lunatic fringe on the far left that consists of a few hundred people. On the other side you have half the Republican party that seems to have turned authoritarian and has forgotten what it means to live in a free and open society. They get their news from conspiracy websites. Until those of us (left, right and center) who want America to be open and free confront that fact, the authoritarians portion of the right will keep doing what they are doing, and they will keep using the actions of a handful of anarchists in the Bay Area as a justification to attack the norms of our politics and undermine American liberty as a whole.

I can't believe all of the posters defending physical assault on a reporter because you don't like what he is saying. This kind of barbaric behavior has no place in a democratic, civilized society. The Republican Party is descending into a toxic mix of White supremacism and neo-fascism and they need to be confronted. My grandfathers didn't go fight German Nazis and Japanese fascists in World War II only for them to take over America in a slightly kinder form.
Bingo..... Best post . I agree 100 percent. The candidate assaulted the reporter because he was annoying. Then the candidate called him "liberal". The message is that if you are a right winger you should support violence against your political opposition. Trump opened the Pandora's box. More of this to come because half the country approves of this kind of behavior. Thanks Trump.
