Why are conservatives still asking why liberals "are" still asking why people voted for Trump?

I think most Democrats have moved on past the election. It's Trump himself and is supporters that are still bringing it up. Republicans also seem to have a hard time discerning the difference between an election and running the country., They see the greater good in running ad winning elections. See also the thread about Republicans being 3 and 0 since Trump's win as if that is important somehow.

I'm no political scientist. I don't play one on TV and I haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn in a long time. I think the true test for both parties is more 2020 than 2018. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the Democrats can take back both houses of Congress in the midterms under any circumstance.

And then there is the matter of who the Democrats run against Pence in 2020

I give up. Most posters just don't get it. Trump and Obama are no different. It's just a difference in style. Both liars, both corrupt, both 100% in favor of and beholding to the establishment. The military industrial complex, the prison industrial complex, big oil, the banks, wall street, big pharma, the corporations, the lobbyists run the country. We just pay the bills. The media keeps this liberal vs conservative polarization going as it spikes ratings. Moreover it is a stalemate that lets the status quo persist. Nothing gets done because those (fill in the blank) are to blame. It's a giant scam.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

To Obama's credit, at least he tried to make life a little more comfortable for Americans whilst screwing them over.
