Even worse, as under Obama the NSA listened in on confidential conversations between lawyers and their clients!

The OP will never see this as his own partisanship leading him to flawed right wing reporting that makes him look stupid. It will be (in his mind) the "liberals" being hypocrites.

Thing is the mainstream media make their money being first and getting credit for reporting news. Hardly a recipe for being 'complicit" with the subjects of news.

Anyone who believes that The Washington Post is ignoring a story and The Wall Street Journal will not then beat them to the punch is very clueless and very possibly drooling.

Yes the NSA has overstepped its bounds-but trying to turn it into the nonsense you are is also a bit extreme, especially given that it was Obamas administration who initially added more restrictions on it, and then self reported when those weren't followed.
" Trump has been allowing it for months and months as well."

Exaggerated much?

Trump has on;y been in office for 4 months.

A very POOR attempt to deflect.

You CAN be REPORTED for attempting to hijack the thread.

Stay on the topic or you WILL be.

Covered it well, did they?

Like MSNBC covered "bridgegate" endlessly, CNN covered the that missing flight, or they all cover anything to do with Russia, even Trump using Russian dressing on a lunch salad?

You as a leftist should be incensed about what Obama & Co did against the press, yet I'd bet dollars to donuts, few if any posts threads by you on the subject were penned.

Feel free to report me for that. LOL. That was on topic, and accurate. Your threat is merely a attempt to shut down dissenting viewpoints.

Trump has allowed this, and will continue too. Watch. Know who will work to stop it? The ACLU. Those evil leftists!

Know who did the most to limit it during his term in office? Obama. The very person you are attacking. Most of this started under Bush. Another fun fact? Know who put his job on the line and challenged even worse 4th amendment abuses? Comey.

I'm afraid you are going by the media of the past. Read Sharyl Attkisson's book to see how the modern leftist media does things;

https://www.amazon.com/Stonewalled-O.../dp/1501248219

She is a professional and a moderate who went after Republicans with gusto. She points out how she was encouraged and the bell of the ball when she did, yet when she did the same to Obama & Co, she was cut off at the knees and became persona non grata.

Heck read liberal journalist Kristin Powers book on a similar subject;

https://www.amazon.com/Silencing-Lef...P1361WZ01GBBR6

I've read them both, and they are very informative and thought provoking.

Those are restrictions and changes that Obama added to the up until then insanely unrestricted spying that was going on. Those changes are what led to the self reporting that you folks are screaming treason about.

Up until then it was far worse. And those came about under a Republican president.

Susan Rice knows all about it, but she's not talking. And probably won't for fear of going to jail.
