Can we have that money back now?

These are our closest allies. trump has alienated them with his rhetoric and threats. He doesn't understand that they contribute to world-wide intelligence that could prevent an attack here in the US. Any attack in the US under trump should be blamed on his isolationism, his mistrust of the intel community, both here and abroad.

Of course he will blame the Courts for blocking his Muslim ban and his followers will swallow that excuse. But the reality is that the WORLD is a dangerous place and the US needs its ALLIES. Instead he sucks up to Putin/Russia and Saudi Arabia, home to most 9-11 hijackers.

Finland is not a NATO country, so no money for you.

Maybe Finland will be a part of a new alliance after Trump and Putin destroy NATO.

Because of the ignorance of the average American, especially the Leftists, about our Constitution. We shouldn't have anything to do with this unholy alliance called NATO. Just my opinion, but I support Donald Trump in calling them out for not paying their share.

US contributes 3.61% ($650 M) of our GDP. Only 2% is required. We are going into debt and paying more than our share, while other countries are not paying even close to their share.

Obama was the worst President in U.S. History. I predict Trump will go down as one of the greatest. This trip was historic. He got better reception than Obama ever did everywhere he went.

Let's do a comparison.

How many US troops do you think are stationed in Europe as opposed to how many European troops are stationed in the US?

How many US bases are in Europe and how many European bases are in the US?

You mean as long as Obama's leakers are still in WH. They must be found and fired. Personally, I believe Obama himself is the leaker, through his surrogates who are still there.

Now do you understand why we provide more funding? Our GNI is 4.6 times that of Germany. We contribute 1.5x.
