You tell me. Who is NATO protecting and against whom?

Who is the threat causing us to spend billions?

She is right and Trump has blown it. In his world he hugs autocratic Saudi Arabia and Russia and tells our long time democratic European allies to take a hike, and I'll get back to you on the climate deal.

What an idiot.

NATO was set up to as a mutual defense pact to give war-torn nations a chance to get on their economic feet while we had their backs. It was a strategy to avoid WWIII erupting over some European dispute and has worked for 70 years.

Trump made it clear that those days are over, that we are now partnering with our good buddy Putin.

So they best prepare themselves.
