Trump releases budget hitting his own voters hardest - POLITICO

Looks like the states that voted Trump have huge budget cuts coming.

To farm programs, Medicaid, programs to help with the massive heroin epidemic.

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-sta...-west-virginia

Highest heroin death rate- West Virginia voted Trump. Looks like less federal money for them for treatment programs.

Fittest city? Boulder, Colo., once again tops the list - TODAY.com

Mike Pences very own Evansville, Indiana with it's 38 percent obesity. Looks like the state will have to pony up more money when the hospitals are in crisis over obesity related conditions.

Oklahoma budget shortfall nearly $900 million: report - Business Insider

Oklahoma Budget deficit. Looks like they are looking forward to agriculture cuts.

U.S. tax cut hopes sent state collections down in April | Reuters

Nebraska revenues down 13%. State very reluctant on USDA welfare and 18% below estimates. Big cuts in USDA coming under Trump budget for Nebraska! Less food stamps mean less high-fructose corn syrup purchases!

Despite efforts, heroin deaths setting records

Outbreak of Heroin in Ohio. Less money for treatment and prevention!

Can't imagine what this is going to look as Trump's budget cuts go into effect.

" Trump's budget screws basically the very states who voted for him, does he a private dislike for rural America? "

I think he has a private disdain for most Americans. They are "business opportunities" or "fertile fields to be plowed". Not people with hearts and souls and dreams.

The man had hurt a great many people in his life long before the campaign. He is not likely to stop now ...

Those who voted for him thought to themselves, change is good, what can possibly go wrong and what do we have to lose?

Well, it looks like they are just about to get a taste of it...

Actions speak louder than words and unfortunately those actions don't bode well for most Americans. Things will get worse before they get better though... And the better part will only happen AFTER the Repugs are forced out of the WH and Congress by the same people they are scr*wing over.

Kushers dad was in jail.
Kushner is being investigated as part of the Russia thing.

Kusher and Bannon are basically in charge of the USA.

I mean - one may not like the Clintons or think Bernie is too liberal, but couldn't you come up with someone that had even 2% "good" integrity? Trump is a clown, a crook, a con man and IMHO a criminal. That's besides being clueless and many other things.

He is good at conning people. But that hasn't worked when he is paired up with anyone with a 100 IQ or better. The rest of the world is dumbstruck just like any sane US Citizen should be.

The only questions are how it all ends and how many decades our country is put behind due to lack of smart policy and action.

I don't disagree. I think Medicaid should go to traditional reimbursement rates. The safety-net should be there for states that are willing contribute money to it.

I just think the Trump budget is a gift to big cities and basically full of huge federal cuts to the mainly rural areas that voted for him.

Some blue states like California and New York will likely just raise taxes on the wealthy to counter the huge federal cuts. The rural states already in most cases have huge budget issues and huge outmigration.

The states need to have a vested interest in these programs. But the reality is many of the states that voted for Trump are full of people who live extremely unhealthy lifestyles for vast majority of people.

Very high illicit drug usage, high smoking rates, high Medicaid pregnancy and terrible food are what most of the Trump states consist of that drives up Medicaid, SSDI and other programs in those states.

I just think it is very interesting that so far the states that voted Trump, are the ones that will have the largest federal budget cuts if his budget goes through when they have skyrocketing social needs at the same time.

I really think a real funding crisis is going to occur if this passes in the states that voted Trump. But then again they voted for it!

Isn't this like the 50th thread on Trump hating rural America and his voters? And you still get the same answers time and time again...

Insanity-doing the same things over and over again, and expecting different results each time...
