Trump is said to be planning to bring back some previously departed aides, who are known for their aggressive tactics, to beef-up his defenses against attacks on his administration. He's going to establish a "war room" in the White House, to work against outside forces. Essentially, he's declaring war on all of us in the United States who are not among his supporters. Apparently, he's well-aware of the seriousness of what's being revealed by the investigations into the activities involving Russians.

I can imagine that his critics and opponents in congress, are not going to look kindly on such activities. I think he will probably accelerate the process of his own downfall, by doing such things. We should be worried about what drastic measures he will try, if he becomes even more embattled by his growing corps of enemies.

Trump had an even longer list of enemies last year, because Paul Ryan and other Republicans weren't on his side.
This year most Republicans are on his side.

Some Americans are for ISIS and Kim etc.
If Trump destroyed ISIS and silenced Kim and delivered an Israel-Pal Peace agreement, the mainstream media would be devastated.

Trump will just appoint different members of his family. If Democrats had done any of this, Republicans would be rioting in the streets. The most hypocritical administration in history.

"We're not going to comment on Jared," Cohn said. "We're just not going to comment."

White House is 'not going to comment on Jared

"At least two leading Republicans briefed on the meeting with Trump's family members were aggravated by the presence of the president's sons..."

With all the leakers in his administration and the constant onslaught of accusations from the left, negative coverage from the media and haters framing every movement or sentence he utters in a negative way, who can blame him? The left and nevertrumpers have declared war on him - why is it wrong for him to protect himself?

A lot of this upheaval is to take the attention off the treasonous leaks and underhanded tactics the previous administration was involved in.

He needs to clean house.

Republicans should fear being on his side as he is historically unpopular and the mid-terms are coming up. Any Republican in a +15 R (so-called safe) seat is sweating bullets.

People don't like bullies, which is trump's MO. Ryan/McConnell and other spineless Repubs are tolerating trump, for now. Originally, they were prepared to back him until they got most of their agenda passed. However, trump is very ineffective, a bad leader who has appointed weak staff that cannot get his or the Repub agenda moving.

This War Room idea is another bad idea from a bad leader. The longer the Repub agenda gets bogged down, the better the chances that Ryan/McConnell, et. al. realize that they have hitched their wagon to a dead horse. There is no loyalty in the WH or the Congress; they will bolt and force a trump resignation (by threatening impeachment hearings) and go with Plan B, aka Mike Pence.

Trump has declared war on rural America with his Trumpcare bill. He is a grade A liar who is governing like Bush on stereoids. Even some former Trump supporters are seeing this.
