Where'd you get that? I have quite a few friends who live in and are natives of Scotland and not a one of them was outraged over anything except when Trump showed up over there trying to act like he was a friend of the area.
He's not.
Someone handed Obama a beverage and he drank it. Do you think he chose his own drink?

Trump, however, is still held in low esteem with some uniquely Scottish inventive insults -- weasel headed ****nugget, hellbeast, bloviating flesh bag, cockwomble, ...

Trump's visit was historic, and he was well received and well respected everywhere he went! What are you reading; CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the sewer pipe media, no doubt. We watched much of it live. Virtually everyone that matters called the trip "historic," but I'm sure Aderson Pooper and Wolf(man) Blitzer had a different view, as the biggest purveyors of fake news. They didn't even begin coverage for two hours or more after Trump landed in Saudi Arabia!
I'm pretty sure Germany disagrees. As did the rest of the NATO leaders who were trying their best not to laugh at how he clearly has no clue how NATO works.
Which is fine with a good chunk of his fans, because they have no clue, either.
Those who do should know better than to keep defending this mess.

You must not be reading the post I replied to, which said "Trump embarrassed the whole world." Nothing could be further from the truth.
Obama looked like an ass, as usual.
Drinking a diet soda that someone offered you while out golfing makes you a national embarrassment, but shoving the PM of Montenegro, riding a golf cart while all the others walked together in a symbolic gesture of goodwill between countries, making those same people wait for the photo op because you were late arriving in your golf cart, and kissing Saudi rump is perfectly acceptable behavior?
I think I must be in an alternate universe, because if I saw that someone handed Trump a diet beverage and I saw people on Twitter demanding that someone hand him the proper version, indicating that they were upset with the person who offered it and not the person who drank it?
I'd simply think "not a story." Followed closely by "to be fair, Trump is quite hefty. Perhaps they read about his love of Diet Coke and wanted to be considerate in case he's got diabetes" or something similar.
This is the most non-story I've read on here in at least 48 hours.
