You may/may not have read my previous posts on the Ruskie thing but heres a synapsis.
Much of it is "normal" politics with the added newer presence of social media and the wonders of what technology can do and the probability of foreign intrigue.
It is quite possible/probable that DT is innocent in a Nixonian way. The Nixonian way is that Trickie Dick did not authorize the break ins but he did give his go ahead on two things.
--- the creation of the "plumbers" who did the entering and plugged other leaks and repaired things for him-- that's why they referred to themselves as "plumbers"
--- hands on in crafting the cover-up
I can fully believe DT saying "damn I wish I could get my hands on stuff to take down Hillary with". The problem becomes if someone(s) took it a bit far and that seems to be the case.
Then you get the covering up part--just like when our parents would say you better tell the truth up front because we will find out and you will be in worse shape when we do.
The worse shape for DT or
Jared etc could very well be money issues. Specail prosecutor can go wherever he wants and they will. You do know that Nixons personal lawyer was imprisoned for accepting bribes(I think) and went to the slammer. The damning info came during the H20gate investigation.
