You people realize there is no win here? This is why appointing special council was a waste of time.

No matter what happens, they will claim him guilty.

Best to tell the progressives to beat sand and move on with the work.

Yes, but Trump has claimed he has no clue who he is and he had no real involvement in the campaign.

You may/may not have read my previous posts on the Ruskie thing but heres a synapsis.

Much of it is "normal" politics with the added newer presence of social media and the wonders of what technology can do and the probability of foreign intrigue.

It is quite possible/probable that DT is innocent in a Nixonian way. The Nixonian way is that Trickie Dick did not authorize the break ins but he did give his go ahead on two things.

--- the creation of the "plumbers" who did the entering and plugged other leaks and repaired things for him-- that's why they referred to themselves as "plumbers"
--- hands on in crafting the cover-up

I can fully believe DT saying "damn I wish I could get my hands on stuff to take down Hillary with". The problem becomes if someone(s) took it a bit far and that seems to be the case.

Then you get the covering up part--just like when our parents would say you better tell the truth up front because we will find out and you will be in worse shape when we do.

The worse shape for DT or Jared etc could very well be money issues. Specail prosecutor can go wherever he wants and they will. You do know that Nixons personal lawyer was imprisoned for accepting bribes(I think) and went to the slammer. The damning info came during the H20gate investigation.

By all means, if Carter Page believes the House Intelligence committee is giving him the runaround, he needs to go on a news program and let her rip.

Default Democrats want to..

Carter Page is a squirrelly character. He made the rounds with his coy hints about how much he knows but refuses to reveal until some point in the future.

Now he's claiming that a committee staff person told him over the Memorial Day weekend that he might not be immediately afforded the opportunity to tell his story.

Hard to tell if a comment made over a holiday weekend really speaks for all Democrats or even whether this was a Republican staff member, but I bet if Carter Page insisted on telling his story, there would be people willing to listen.

So spit it out, Carter Page.

Exactly...
Carter Page is no threat to Democrats & there is absolutely no worrying occurring on their part about what he can or will say.
The reason why is that he is a nobody & that we've already seen him multiple times in tv interviews. The man is like a deer in the headlights, a terrible evader, a horrible liar & one who appears to want to exaggerate his importance & or roles played early on in the trump campaign.
Seriously, I saw him 3 times on tv & felt sorry for him as in regard to the overall web he was spinning & the holes he was digging for himself should he later be called on to testify under oath.
