Which is a bigger deal then many realize. It means that suddenly they have gotten VERY serious about moving this forward as quickly as possible, and they are willing to use the power they do have in a aggressive manner.

How is that equivalent to today? A minority group literally can do nothing to take Trump out of power. If he is impeached, it won't be because of the Democrats. This is basic math.

Neither the House or the Senate are going to flip in 2018. unlikely in 2020, too. If Trump is impeached, it'll be because of the Republicans. Again, this is simple math.
I'm not saying he deserves to impeached - I'm just saying that if he is, it'll be because of the Republicans. Let's wait to see what these many investigations yield. If Trump is clean, nothing will happen.

Well...and there is a ton more evidence for this, including testimony from the intelligence agencies saying that Russia was involved in our elections. And the president fired the head of the FBI for investigating it. You know...investigating it based upon factual information that the Russians had tried to influence our election.
