ooohhhh..... so if someone lies and its printed like its true, that's not fake news.
they have sourced her as the claim. that is factual. again, for it to be fake news would require that she didn't make the accusation. the accuracy of her statement is now up for rebuttal but it doesn't change the fact that she said it.
If I recall correctly, Trump never said he believed it. He said that since the issue was raised by others, it should be looked into. I think that was a valid response.
Personally, I don't hink Obama was born in Africa, nor do I think Barack Obama Sr. was his father. I think Frank Marshall Davis was. And I think that would have made a better story than the biirther issue. In fact, I think Obama allowed the birther issue to fester because it detracted from the "real father" issue. It's even possible that Obama created the birther issue to try to link him to his African adoptive father and deflect attention from his Socialist, community organizing biological father.
