That is exactly how it looks to me. And from all appearances the exact opposite of what his ego needs. He seems incapable of understanding how he undermines himself.

[quote=in_newengland;48359018]I wish my state could join--maybe they can. I hate to see our country so divided and going backwards--I keep thinking that if we wait long enough, we can elect someone more moderate and this crazy stuff will be reined in. But if we have to start forming alliances like this, maybe it's for the best.

"Even if the Paris Agreement were implemented in full, with total compliance from all nations, it is estimated it would only produce a two-tenths of one degree — think of that; this much — Celsius reduction in global temperature by the year 2100. Tiny, tiny amount. In fact, 14 days of carbon emissions from China alone would wipe out the gains from America — and this is an incredible statistic — would totally wipe out the gains from America’s expected reductions in the year 2030, after we have had to spend billions and billions of dollars, lost jobs, closed factories, and suffered much higher energy costs for our businesses and for our homes."

He has no idea how obnoxious he looked pushing others aside to get in a photo or riding on a golf cart instead of walking with everyone else. Then follows up with his Rose Garden tantrum? That states and cities are forming a Climate Alliance is only fitting, but he will likely be pretty upset when he grasps how unnecessary he is.

It's not illegal for anyone to meet with world leaders. Happens every day. Trump himself did it, before being elected.

Sounds good. If things go wrong here, I'll just move to Washington. Good to know it's there if I need it.

Do you actually read what you are replying to? For them to succeed they will need to cut the supply of food to insure profitability.

Your dollars are going to buy far less if anything is available at all. LOL

Let's get back to how this is saving the planet. How does that work?

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

In addition to temp reduction, there are many benefits to treating the Earth sustainably.

It's like telling kids there is no Santa Claus, Trump supporters are so convinced what Trump says is true.

Why Trump Is Seeing Red About the 'Green Climate Fund' - NBC News

"We are going to see closer cooperation between China and the European Union in accelerating the energy transition into a low-carbon economy," Frank Yu, Wood Mackenzie's principal consultant of Asia-Pacific power and renewables, wrote in a note on Friday, adding that the U.S. withdrawal presents "an unprecedented opportunity for China".

He predicted that U.S. companies involved in environmentally friendly technologies will relocate renewable technology research and development centers to Asia, helping countries such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam that need foreign capital to reach renewable goals."

Really? The bigger the farm and more they produce, the greater the chance of staying profitable, through efficiencies.

Plus, the point was that those who use "the free market" to defend their positions, never want that applied to their own situation. Subsidies distort the free market. And a whole lot of that subsidy money is coming from "blue states".

"Pouty crybaby"? Um..no, you need to stop watching the scumbags on MSNBC.

Trump came back having stepped on the throats of those socialist clowns in the EU, telling them to F off regarding their climate scam BS. And if by "tantrum in the rose garden", you mean telling Oracist his climate legacy is dead as the look in Moochelles eyes..then I guess you are right.

And apparently the "World" cant seem to screw in a lightbulb without begging for American cash, nevermind this climate crap.
