What this shows is just how childish Trump really is. Now that states are stepping up to represent the U.S. globally on climate change, Trump may be even more humiliated.

"...27 California state senators sent a letter to Brown, urging him to convene a climate summit with “like-minded states and subnationals from around the world..."

Jerry Brown defies Trump on world stage - POLITICO

When blue states are meeting with Canada and Mexico and perhaps Europe, in place of Trump, he may start getting a bit resentful, but he doesn't want to be a part of it.

No, that ain't happenin. It's bad business.

Madonna, Ashley Judd, Kathy Griffin, Meryl Streep, etc.

Y'all can get in the back of the bus. Remember that one?

Oh don't worry. We'll remind ya.

I say we gut all the Planned Parenthoods across America and turn them into nuclear power plants, just out of spite.

We can turn art galleries into Bass Pros. Gut all the soon to be failed movie theaters into mega-churches.

Keep it up snowflakes. Trump is here to stay.
Well when you insult half the population in this country during a campaign don't expect people to like you.

Trump expects applause and adulation OR silence. Sorry, he IS NOT God.

And California can fund it sans fed money. Enjoy.

Don't tell Trump that.

There are encouraging signs that blue states and cities will join an alliance to align to the goals of the Paris Agreement without Trump. It would be very funny to see governors and mayors happily meeting with world leaders when Trump could do nothing but insult them.

Paris Decision Was Driven By the President’s Rage and Fear – Talking Points Memo

It really doesn't matter now, does it? He fulfilled a campaign promise to pull out of another bad Obama deal. It's that simple.

If blue states like CA want to still comply with the Paris agreement then knock yourselves out. It will only result in the weakening of that economy, and industry will be drawn to other states instead.

It's funny, red states have been saying that...forever. Yet California and other blue states continue to prosper.

California Leads U.S. Economy, Away From Trump

Washington is home to Amazon, Starbucks, Costco, Microsoft, Expedia, Nordstrom, Alaska Airlines, Paccar, Weyerhauser, etc.

And New York? They're doing quite well.

Trump has been a climate skeptic from the start. This is hardly surprising given that he has the attention span of a 3 year-old and the intellectual attainment of a golden retriever (my apologies to golden retrievers everywhere). The only world leaders he shows any respect for are dictators and strongmen - especially Vladimir Putin - this goes without saying. The Paris Climate Agreement was doomed the moment Trump was placed in power by the Russians. Having a temper tantrum because the leaders of several European nations gave as good as they got was just icing on the cake.
