Sanders is Vermont's front man. Period. He has no right to tell people what "our" values are since all Americans don't have the opportunity to vote for him. All of the pipsqueaks in the Senate (yes, all one hundred) should just shut up and do their jobs.

Actually no, unless you believe no significant number of Americans support Trump.

Are you new to American politics? It's called the electoral college.

And besides, why would we need to win some seal of approval from Germany or any other country? Reminds me of a guy walking up to a girl and saying "You like me right? Trust me I'm actually really nice. I think I'm going to like the same things as you do!" Its pretty weak and pathetic. Not worthy of respect.
Do you think the USA will get some sort of trophy or something by trying to play macho?

Since when is it a bad thing to try to not burn bridges?

When many of those bridges are used exclusively to haul off large chunks of our treasury, a good burning might be needed.

Promises made & promises kept. Thank you President Trump for putting America first. Screw the internationalists, and one world government types who seek US tax money for this scam to enrich themselves. Congratulations Europe. You own it now, so take the lead. Dig deep in those pockets, and suck your taxpayers dry the only way you know how. Redistribute that wealth to combat third world pollution since you care so much. America won't be the world's piggy bank for this criminal enterprise. You can also have Bernie Sanders. He's an embarrassment to anyone with an IQ above room temperature.

I don't disagree, but I tend to favor slowly weaning countries off of our money rather than big dramatic amputations.

OTOH, I suppose it does have to happen quickly, as we can't trust that Trump's successors will continue the weaning process.

I'm glad that it's becoming left up to the states though. As long as there are no measures taken to try to stop states from getting on board with the Paris Agreement, I think everything will be fine.

I like Bernie Sanders more than I like Hillary Clinton. I don't think it is a good idea to trash your own president in another country. He is not just an average Joe.

I'm not disagreeing with you and saying Trump does things the best way, I'm just saying we need to make some major changes and not all of our relationships are two way roads, or bridges.

Time to get in touch with reality, really.

Yet it is still an utterly meaningless fact. That's the reality.
