I actually think Trump does represent the silent majority in America. The media doesn't represent majority of the people in the country. That's why Trump skips the media and goes straight to social media.

What are "American values" according to Bernie Sanders?

Submitting to the will of the rest of the world?

Bernie would fit in right next to Hugo Chavez. Unfortunately for Leftist, Europe is either identfied as a Social Utopia, or, they are evil Colonialists getting payback from Islamic Exremist.

That silent majority made their voice heard with a really loud bang on 11/08/16. Some liberals are still confused about what happened. Europe leans leftist and socialist. Bernie fits right in. No doubt he would get an applause there. But as far as in America, last time I checked, he couldn't even win the nomination over a waste of oxygen like H. Clinton, and there is no one to thank for that other than his own party.

I think Bernie got carried away with all the attention he got during the Presidential race, and the support he got from the youth vote and other disaffected sectors. (Remember, this is a guy who's never been able to get one of his proposed measures even discussedby Congress, let alone put up for a vote.) Also, he probably feels like he's in his element in Europe, where his pie-in-the-sky political worldview is reality. Nobody can speak for all Americans; The Bern is speaking for his Americans, or maybe he thinks he's speaking for Dems in general.

Of course! He's a socialist! Duh.

Bernie Sanders does not represent the majority of Americans. I don't think either Bernie Sanders or Hillary know what American values are. If they did, they wouldn't be socialists!

Bernie actually goes to places like Wisconsin and West Virginia to talk with people there about their concerns, not to just campaign and deliver empty promises. He has his ear to the ground probably more than any other politician in this country.
