Why vote for a Republican? Anytime they are in charge, they can't legislate a damn thing.
At least they actually question legislation. On the other hand, Dems are just lock step no matter how screwed up their legislation is.

Under Republican rule: You are a salaried employee for every dollar over $23,600. That means that if you make 23,601 and up you can be denied overtime pay.

When the FLSA was written back in 1938 upper level management was making that kind of money. So that you have additional perspective Joe DiMaggio made $25,000 in 1938 and Lou Gehrig made 31 thousand.

The proof is in the last Presidential election. Trump or Clinton.
The number one beneficiary of either party is the party. But they both need money so they grovel at the feet of the fat cats. But the fat cats don't give their money cuz it feels good. They use their money to make more money.
If the Dems or the Pubs take fat cat money, they are indebted. Kinda like with the mob, where you have to pay the loan back plus the juice. And pay they do. With our hides.
