The bathroom issue is an easy fix. Let people and businesses choose their bathroom policies, and in government facilities, you go to the bathroom as how you present.
That will be the issue in practically all high school cases and most college cases, there will still be a major advantage due to the natural hormone differences yet to be countered by hormone therapy.
The truth of the matter is cases like this are going to be pretty rare; however, it is a real issue for the young ladies that are truly being cheated out of their victories.
You obviously did not read the NCAA trans policy I posted a few posts back. No trans female will be permitted to play college sports as a female without a years worth of hormone therapy and testing putting them within the limits of a female. So far in the few cases there has been no sign of a clear advantage. Playing D3 usually means they were not good enough to compete at the D2 or D1 level. Of course we have only seen team sports thus far. Rowing, Volleyball and Soccer. There could be some cases that are still unknown. There was just a soccer player who came out after her college playing days came to an end. Only a small few from the schools athletic dept new she was trans. Her teammates did not.

Estrogen does have a dramatic effect reducing muscle mass in trans women's bodies, but it takes a long time for that to happen. A few years at best.

Not clear enough. This transgender student has a penis and testicles. The MINOR girl students apparently have no say/rights in this matter:

The transgender but anatomically male student was given the use of a private unisex faculty locker/shower room facility, something other students would love to have but don't get, and rejected that. He's insisting on sporting his penis and testicles in the school girls' locker/shower room.
