Of course.

In the latest CNN poll, Trump's approval rating is holding steady at 37%, but public approval for the way he is handling specific issues is declining. Fewer people (38%) believe Trump's policies will move the country in the right direction, and even fewer (32%) believe he is dealing with Congress properly. Even public approval for Trump's handling of the hurricanes has dropped sharply, from 64% to 44%.

Those were pretty low approvals. Do you have the entire list? I suspect that his ratings rebounded. He had good months and bad months, it wasn't all roses but it wasn't all in the mud either.

The problem for Trump is that his 'honeymoon' period lasted six days, never cracked 50% even then and has never been as high again. He seems to have permanently lost most of the middle of the road voters fairly early in his administration, very unique.

So what you are saying is that Obama sucked when a certain poll showed him at times at 40% approval, so then Trump must really suck at 37%. Hard to argue with you there, I agree Trump is worse.

Why look!

Amenalot has performed a fine job of cherry picking for us! We'll all have cherry pie soon!

For an actual look at how Donald Trump's approval rating compares to the past twelve presidents, go to this link on 538's website, scroll down to "How Donald Trump Compares to Other Presidents" and see just how miserable Trump's ratings really are.

And for those who don't click links that don't agree with their mindset, let me clue you in - Donald Trump's net approval rating is worse than Gerald Ford's just after Ford pardoned Richard Nixon.

Default Trump Job Approval Rating At or Below 40% for 5 months

Gallup Daily: Trump Job Approval

That has to be some kind of record.

Probably is.

No matter, though. 40% of 200 million - that's the number of registered voters - is 80 million. It will take about 65 million for him to win if he decides to run again.
