Interesting that Trump is tweeting about the approval poll today but he hasn't tweeted about the leaker to last week's Trump Jr Russia meeting and emails. Usually when there is a major leak, Trump will make negative tweets about the leaker.

Makes you think that Trump knows who the leaker is and is afraid to tweet against the leaker. The only person that Trump is too afraid to tweet against is Putin. Me thinks Putin is the leaker. I wonder what Trump's approval ratings will be after Mueller's team provides the proof of Russian collusion.

I'd say 30-35% is his floor. There's a solid 30% of silly people that will forever think of Trump as the greatest president in American history.

Are they asking all liberals like they did with the presidential polls?

There's a trick where these polls will only ask independents in cities, and not rural areas.

Too get the honest truth, we will have to wait another three and a half years until the election.

To be fair, The same polls had no path to 270 for Trump. State polls in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania had Clinton up double digits.

Bottom line..polls are meaningless these days, because they are just measuring the pinging within the echo chamber of the national media, which thinking middle class Americans simply do not trust anymore.. hence Trumps 306 electoral votes.

Trump had low approval ratings ever since he started running

He still won the nomination and the presidency.

If liberals are going to rely only on polls, things won't turnout well for them.

Liberals aren't interested in what Trump supporters think. Why would they include them in a poll ?

They stay within the bubble where they get the feedback they desire.

Yes, and they replied that Trump stinks worse than lobster left out in the sun for a week at Mar-A-Lago!

The GOP can't afford to lose that 36% of crazy supporters. That's the tough spot the Republicans find themselves in right now.

I keep being surprised that it's not dropping further - but I guess Trump supporters are living in the equivalent of a cave.

A newsman said that although the approval number remain stuck in the mid-30s, what's not seen in that statistic is that a lot of people are moving from the "strongly approve" to the "somewhat approve" category.

Trump spinning the numbers is on par to what he used to do in business - lying about the number for his building projects.
